As many of
you may already know, the most talked about new direction in information technology within the medical community is Electronic Health Records.
Rather than write a new program from
scratch, McKesson chose to purchase a company
who already had a practice management and
EHR system. After a lot of review and
actually going through several weeks of training, Doctors Office Systems
decided the software McKesson chose was not even as good as Practice Point Manager. Therefore, we set out on a two year project
to find the best practice management and EHR software we could find. That project eventually led us to SuiteMed.
